I'm Scott Carlson, a 50s something, veteran business journalist who is daring to spread his wings into the world of creative writing and musings on politics. sports and current affairs.
I am currently a business reporter at Finance & Commerce newspaper in downtown Minneapolis where I cover residential real estate, retail and retail development. Prior to this position, I worked one year at the Sioux Falls Argus Leader covering the growth of business and nearly 30 years at the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Most of my years in St. Paul were devoted to covering business _ from aviation and manufacturing to legal affairs and retailing.
Like all of you, I am a work in progress. I have been inspired by the blogging of a reporter friend, Thom, to get my own blog off the ground.
